Mishka's puppies are now one week old! We just wanted to show you their development and share a few pictures of these precious creatures as they grow to become beautiful animals. At this age, they still do not have the use of their eyes or ears, so they presently interact with Mishka not only as their primary source of nutrients, warmth, and nurturing, but also for her sight and hearing. While most puppies at this age squeak when held, these pups love contact and are calm during handling. (Fun fact: At birth, puppies find their mother using scent.) We humorously refer to them as sausage puppies due to their pudgy nature and desire to be entwined. This is just the beginning of their journey to their families; We hope you enjoy the experience with us.
